ROCKWOOL Thermal Cavity Slab 32 is a versatile stone wool slab designed for both full and partial fill thermal insulation in masonry cavity walls. Ideal for new builds, renovations, or extensions, these slabs are easy to handle and install, requiring only a simple friction fit against blockwork without the need for precise cutting. The innovative fibre structure enhances the density of air pockets within each slab, resulting in a 13% improvement in thermal performance compared to standard stone wool cavity slabs. In 2024, ROCKWOOL will update its packaging for the Trade Range products to enhance environmental sustainability, with the new design being gradually introduced throughout the year. Featuring a low thermal conductivity of 0.032 W/mK, can withstand temperatures exceeding 1,000ºC, and achieves the highest Euroclass A1 non-combustibility rating as defined in EN13501-1. The slabs are designed in a 455mm width to accommodate standard vertical wall tie spacings, ensuring a tight fit with adjacent slabs while also being water-repellent.
