One Product, Two Ways to Mix
BAL Level Plus is a rapid-setting smoothing and levelling compound that can be used as either a 1-part mix with water or a 2-part mix with BAL Level Plus Liquid latex. This dual-use capability means you can adapt on-site, depending on the substrate and project requirements.
- 1-Part Mix (with water): Ideal for common subbases like concrete, sand:cement screeds, anhydrite screeds, cementitious flowing screeds, unglazed tiles or stone, and even old tile adhesive residues. You can build up from 2mm to 12mm, or up to 30mm with aggregate.
- 2-Part Mix (with BAL Level Plus Liquid): Perfect for more problematic substrates such as flooring-grade bitumen, asphalt, underfloor heating systems, glazed tiles, vinyl tiles (excluding LVT), and under DPMs. In this format, BAL Level Plus can be applied from 2mm to 10mm, and again up to 30mm with aggregate.
Fast, Smooth, and Reliable
No matter how you mix it, BAL Level Plus offers a long pot life of 25 minutes and is ready for tiling in as little as 2 hours — ideal for fast-track projects. Its excellent flow and self-healing properties ensure a super-flat surface that’s perfect for tiling, and it’s even suitable for spike-rolling.
