It does not stain or bond to sealants, acting as an effective bond-breaker while helping to control sealant depth and joint geometry. Commonly used in expansion and contraction joints, it prevents three-sided adhesion and supports correct hourglass shaping of the sealant, improving long-term performance in applications such as windows, curtain walling, doors, partitions, pavements, precast units, copings, and settlement cracks.
