Sika® Woodworm Killer is a low-odour, low-solvent timber treatment formulated to eliminate all life stages of wood-boring insects, including woodworm, while helping to prevent re-infestation. Using advanced micro-fine active technology and added insecticide, it penetrates deep into the wood for long-lasting protection and is suitable for interior applications such as furniture, window and door frames, floorboards, and joists. The fast-drying, non-flammable formula can also be overpainted once dry.

– Suitable for use on most interior timber and joinery applications
– Ideal for furniture, doors, window frames, roof timbers, floorboards, joists, and rafters
– Provides protection against wood-boring insects in structural and decorative timber
– Can be overpainted, stained, varnished, or polished once fully dry
Consumption
– Apply 2 coats at a rate of 1 litre of product per 3 – 4m2 of surface.
– Dip end grains for a minimum of 3 minutes or flood thoroughly where dipping is not possible.
Waiting Time / Overcoating
– Drying time is approximately 1 hour depending on temperature
SUBSTRATE QUALITY / PRE-TREATMENT
– Ensure the timber is clean and free from dirt, dust, paint, varnish, or other surface coatings before treatment.
– Remove and replace any severely infested or structurally unsound timber prior to application.
APPLICATION
1. Read all statutory and safety requirements before use.
2. Shake well before application.
3. Apply by brush, spray, or dipping method.
4. When brushing or spraying, apply a minimum of two coats.
5. Apply the second coat after the first has soaked into the timber but before it has fully dried.
6. Pay particular attention to end grain areas, ensuring they are thoroughly saturated.
7. Where possible, dip or flood end grains for maximum protection.
CLEANING OF TOOLS
– Remove excess product from brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
– Clean tools immediately after use with warm soapy water.
LIMITATIONS
– Ready to use; do not dilute.
– Not suitable for use in food preparation areas.
– For interior use only; do not use externally.
