Stick2 Textile Adhesive is ideal for use on a variety of materials, including: Cloth, canvas, fabric, leather, foam, sponge, paper, cardboard, stone, etc.
Substrate Preparation:
Ensure that surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and other contaminants. For non-porous materials, lightly abrade the surface with sandpaper to improve adhesion.
Application Method / Tools:
Apply the adhesive sparingly to both surfaces, being careful not to apply too much. Allow both surfaces to dry for approximately 15 minutes before pressing them together. Immediately wipe off any excess adhesive using acetone, ethanol, or MEK. Avoid using below +5°C. Since the manufacturer cannot account for all potential applications, it is the user’s responsibility to determine suitability. If uncertain, contact the Technical Services Department for advice.
Limitations:
- Not suitable for use on bitumen, tar-leaching products, or areas exposed to continuous water immersion.
- Ensure both the adhesive and surfaces to be bonded are above +5°C when used in low temperatures.
