VATNitoseal PU12 is a two-part, elastomeric polyurethane joint sealant supplied with a base compound and curing agent in the correct proportions, which, when mixed, cure to form a tough, rubber-like material with excellent adhesion to most common construction materials. For porous surfaces, the use of Nitoseal MS2 Primer is essential to ensure proper bonding. In special cases, such as sealing sea defense works in tidal areas, a Nitoseal PU12 accelerator can be added during mixing to enhance the initial cure, allowing the seal to withstand tidal immersion within approximately 60 minutes at 10°C.
