illbruck FA101 is a one-part, neutral-curing silicone sealant with low modulus and low odour, designed for sealing around frames and glazing units. It provides excellent primerless adhesion to a wide range of common building substrates, including glass, polyacrylate, polycarbonate, painted or varnished wood, and anodised aluminium, while forming a durable, abrasion-resistant, fully waterproof seal. With long-term resistance to weathering, ageing, and UV exposure, FA101 is easy to use, compatible with sensitive substrates, and contains a fungicide for added protection.
Key Points
– Neutral-curing, low-odour silicone suitable for sensitive substrates
– Excellent primerless adhesion to glass, plastics, wood, and aluminium
– Long-term resistance to weathering, ageing, abrasion, and UV exposure
– Easy to apply and contains fungicide for lasting protection

Suitable for :
• Designed primarily for glazing applications
• Suitable for use in movement joints and meets the requirements of EN ISO 11600
• Provides strong adhesion to most non-porous substrates
• Compatible with anodised aluminium, glass and glazed surfaces
• Bonds well to polyacrylates, polycarbonates, and painted or varnished wood
Application
• Use a high-quality sealant gun to ensure smooth, consistent extrusion and cut the cartridge nozzle to the required opening.

Cleaning
Clean tools and any sealant spillages immediately using AT200 Cleaner, ensuring the surface is solvent-resistant before use. Once cured, the sealant can only be removed mechanically.
Please Note
Not suitable for use on certain substrates including neoprene, butyl rubber, EPDM, and bituminous or tar-based surfaces, as contact may cause discolouration and loss of adhesion. Not suitable for trafficable areas or for overpainting. For sealing natural stone, use FA870 or FA880; always test on other sensitive substrates before use.
For IG applications, compatibility testing with unit components and materials must be carried out prior to use—contact the Tremco CPG technical services department for guidance. Translucent and pure white variants offer improved resistance to yellowing in areas without natural light (e.g. windowless bathrooms), while other colours may show slight yellowing in such conditions.
