Sika MaxMix® Mortar Plasticiser is a concentrated liquid air-entraining agent designed to improve the workability of bricklaying mortars, renders, pointing, and screeds. Suitable for a wide range of applications where enhanced mortar handling is required, its superior plasticising action creates smoother, easier-to-work mixes while reducing the amount needed on site. The easy-to-use gauged bottle provides efficient dosing, with 1 litre treating up to 5 tons of cement and delivering the equivalent performance of 25 litres of standard mortar plasticiser.

APPLICATION METHOD / TOOLS
1. Shake the bottle thoroughly before use.
2. To open, press the cap down and twist anti-clockwise.
3. Squeeze the bottle to fill the measuring chamber to the required dosage rate of 5–10 ml per 50 kg of cement.
4. Add Sika MaxMix® Mortar Plasticiser to a bucket containing up to 10 litres of water and mix thoroughly.
5. Dry mix all other ingredients first, then add the water/plasticiser solution gradually until the desired consistency is achieved.
6. Never add the product directly to the dry mix; always dilute in gauging water before use.
7. Replace the cap securely after use.
LIMITATIONS
– Do not use in structural concrete applications.
– Do not exceed the recommended dosage rates.
– Not suitable for use in lime-based mixes.
– Do not mix with other additives in the same gauging water.
– The user is responsible for determining suitability for the intended application. If unsure, contact Technical Services for further advice.
