ARDEX E 90 is a specialized synthetic dispersion designed to enhance the performance of ARDEX X 7 G, ARDEX X 7 W, and ARDEX S 21 cement-based adhesives. When diluted with an equal volume of water before mixing with the ARDEX adhesive powder, ARDEX E 90 significantly improves the adhesive properties of the mortar. The resulting mixture exhibits high adhesive strength, elasticity, and water-repellent qualities, while maintaining the workability, slump resistance, and open time characteristic of standard ARDEX adhesives. Substrate preparation follows the same guidelines as for ARDEX adhesives, with the exception that glazed surfaces do not require priming, although they must be clean and free of any barriers. The enhanced mortar is particularly effective for several applications, including fixing large, flat-backed tiles and dense ceramics, as well as for direct adhesion of tiles to existing glazed surfaces.
