Bond It Frostproofer & Hardener is a high-performance building chemical that enhances frost resistance and accelerates cement setting by improving hydration. Specially designed for bricklaying and rendering in low and sub-zero temperatures, it increases workability, strength gain, and water resistance while allowing up to a 15% reduction in gauging water. The non-corrosive, chloride-free formulation ensures it does not degrade steelwork or wall ties. CE-approved, it also reduces curing time and shrinkage, with hot water recommended below 4°C and usage discouraged below 2°C if temperatures are falling.

Bond It FROSTPROOFER & RAPID HARDENER enables year-round construction by counteracting delays caused by low ambient temperatures. It accelerates hydration and curing while reducing the required gauging water, enhancing frost resistance. The resulting mortar or concrete is denser, offering improved resistance to oil and water.
Application:
SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE. Add Bond It FROSTPROOFER & RAPID HARDENER to the gauging water at a ratio of 1.5 to 2.25 liters per 25 kg of cement, reducing the total gauging water by up to 15%. Use the correct sand/cement ratio for a dense, high-quality mortar. Ensure proper compaction and avoid over-mixing. After application, take standard precautions to protect the mortar or concrete from climatic conditions.
Limitations:
- Hot water is recommended for use below +4°C.
- Do not use if the temperature is +2°C and falling.
