Sealacryl is for renovation of all types of roof construction. Provides waterproof security of flat and pitched roofs, corrugated asbestos, roof lights, flashings, roofing felt, gutters, slate, asphalt, lead, glasshouses, metal and fibreglass. It will also bridge small gaps and cracks.
PREPARATION
All surfaces must be structurally sound, clean and free from contaminants. Clean metals with a wire brush to remove dirt and to provide a workable surface. If necessary, remove any organic growth, i.e. moss, with a fungicidal wash. Repair cracks and splits and ensure the area to be treated is free from water. SEALACRYL does not require any priming before use. Most surfaces will tolerate dampness, although for best results, apply to a dry surface. Carry out a test patch prior to application to determine if a primer is necessary.
APPLICATION
Apply SEALACRYL using either a brush or a roller. In areas of excessive movement, additional reinforcement can be included into the coating. SEALACRYL can be applied in one coat, however a two coat application ensures a greater uniformity of coating thickness.
LIMITATIONS
Not suitable for use on balconies and/or walkways. This product contains a solvent and can attack some materials. If in doubt, please test before use.
