FC1 Ultimate Patch & Fill Compound is a high-performance, ultra-lightweight, multipurpose repair solution formulated with revolutionary high-strength microspheres for professional decorators. Ready mixed and easy to apply, it can be used internally and externally to fill and repair large gaps, deep depressions up to 75mm, cracks, scratches, joints and plaster damage in preparation for painting or wallpapering. Its advanced, super-white, fast-drying formulation provides a smooth, clean finish without slumping, sagging or shrinking, while eliminating the need for sanding, secondary filling or levelling. FC1 can be applied in a single application without building up layers and is surface dry and over-paintable in less than one hour, depending on application and conditions.

SURFACE PREPARATION
- Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust, grease and loose material.
- Slightly open up hairline cracks to improve filler penetration.
- Do not apply to permanently damp or wet surfaces.
- For dusty surfaces, apply diluted PVA (5:1 water:PVA) before use.
- Lightly abrade gloss surfaces to provide a good key.
- Prime metal surfaces, including screw heads and beading, with a suitable primer or oil-based paint.
APPLICATION
- Apply directly from the tub using a filling knife, working firmly into the gap.
- For a smooth finish, lightly dip the knife in water and smooth the surface. Avoid over-wetting.
- Once dry, the product can be sanded or drilled if required.
- Clean tools with warm water after use.
- Can be overpainted in as little as 1 hour, depending on conditions, using water-based primers/paints or fully cured oil-based paints.
- For external use, protect the repair from rain, water and temperatures below 5°C during curing.
- Once fully cured externally, seal with oil-based paint for weather protection.
LIMITATIONS
- Do not use in permanently damp or wet areas.
