EVERBUILD P16 PVC Pipe Cement is a non-drip, thixotropic solvent-based cement designed for use with non-pressure PVC and ABS thermoplastic pipes and conduits. It provides a long open time and rapid bond strength development, allowing assembled units to be handled and put into service with minimal delay. The easy-to-apply, non-drip gel formula ensures a strong and reliable bond for various plumbing applications.

Everbuild P16 PVC Pipe Cement is specifically designed for bonding uPVC pipes and accessories in pressure systems up to 16PN, in accordance with BSEN 14814, and for thermoplastic piping systems that comply with BSEN 1329. It is also suitable for bonding pipes and accessories in waste systems, including PVC-U plastic piping for soil and waste discharge (low and high temperature) to BSEN 1329, as well as ABS piping systems for soil and waste discharge (low and high temperature) to BSEN 1455.
Substrate Preparation:
Wear appropriate protective clothing and gloves before use. Avoid inhaling vapours and ensure all ignition sources are extinguished. Work in a well-ventilated area. All surfaces to be joined must be clean, sound, and dry. Cut pipes squarely, remove any swarf, and chamfer the outside edges. Lightly abrade the pipe with emery cloth and degrease using a solvent like Stick2® Contact Adhesive Thinner and Cleaner. Ensure the two ends fit together properly.
Application Method/Tools:
Apply a thin, even layer of adhesive to both surfaces using a brush. Immediately slide the pipes together, ensuring not to twist. Hold in place for 20-30 seconds and remove excess adhesive with a cloth. Allow at least 10 minutes of drying time before handling, and at least 8 hours for non-pressure applications or 24 hours for pressure applications before putting into service. Reseal the container immediately after use.
Limitations:
- Not for use with potable water.
- Apply only to both surfaces as directed.
- Do not dip pipes into the adhesive or mix with cleaning or other fluids.
- Reseal container immediately after use. Allow at least 10 minutes before handling and 8-24 hours before putting into service.
- Do not use below 5°C.
