Feb Febtank Plug is a fast-acting waterproof repair compound designed to instantly stop active water leaks in concrete and masonry. Ideal for emergency repairs, it sets rapidly even in the presence of running water, forming a strong, durable seal that resists wash-out.
Once mixed with water, Febtank Plug produces a stiff mortar that expands slightly as it cures, helping to lock firmly into cracks, holes and joints. This makes it particularly effective for sealing water ingress in basements, tunnels, retaining walls and other below-ground structures.
Commonly used prior to tanking and waterproofing systems, Febtank Plug is suitable for both internal and external applications where a quick, reliable repair is required.

Application
-
Ensure the substrate is sound, clean, and free from loose material, dust, oil, or grease.

For active leaks, chase out cracks or holes to form a square or dovetail profile where possible.

Mix the powder with clean water only, adding water to the powder to achieve a stiff, putty-like consistency.

Apply immediately after mixing, as the material sets very rapidly.

Press the mixed compound firmly into the repair area, holding in place until the initial set is achieved.

Once set, the surface can be finished flush and prepared for subsequent tanking or waterproofing systems if required.
Limitations

Due to its rapid-setting nature, Febtank Plug should be mixed in small quantities only.

Not suitable for use on flexible or moving joints, as the material sets rigid.

Should not be used as a final decorative finish.

Not designed for large-area repairs or resurfacing — intended for localised plugging and sealing only.

Avoid use in temperatures below 5°C or on frozen substrates.

Once mixed, the product must be used immediately and cannot be re-tempered with additional water.
