AW405 is a protective polyethylene film coated with a rubber adhesive, designed to safeguard sensitive surfaces from dirt, scratching, and spillages during construction or finishing works. It is easy to apply and remove, supplied in 100 m rolls with various roll widths available, and offers reliable short-term outdoor performance.

Suitable for:
– Self-adhesive frame protection tape for safeguarding sensitive surfaces
– Protects against dirt and damage during processing, transport, storage, and installation
– Suitable substrates include painted metals (PVDF, polyester) and plastic sheets (PVC, PC, melamine)
– Particularly suitable for protecting window and door frames
– Film must be removed (and replaced if required) within a maximum of 6 months to avoid difficult removal or surface damage due to UV degradation
Application Conditions
– Ensure surfaces are clean and free from oil, grease, dust, and solvents.
– Frames must be dry, as condensation increases adhesion and can make removal more difficult.
– Apply at temperatures between +10 °C and +40 °C.
– Cover the entire frame to prevent differential staining caused by UV exposure.
– Remove the tape, and replace if necessary, within a maximum of 6 months after application to avoid difficult removal or potential frame damage due to UV exposure.
