Latex Plus is a latex admixture for use with NIVORAPID and PLANIPATCH. When mixed together it provides fast-setting levelling/smoothing compounds, with high flexibility for interior surfaces.
CHARACTERISTICS
Latex Plus is a water dispersion of a highly flexible polymer with low viscosity. Mix with Keraquick S1 or Nivorapid in order to improve their deformability, thus improving their application and performance characteristics.

• As an admixture for Keraquick S1 to ensure a high performance, fast setting, slip resistant and highly deformable adhesive. For ceramic tiles and stone.
• As an admixture for Nivorapid to gain an ultra-fast cementitious levelling compound, improving deformability and bonding strength.
APPLICATION
Preparing the substrate
Substrates must be flat, strong, free from dirt and debris and sufficiently dry. Damp substrates could slow down the setting process. Cementitious surfaces must not continue to shrink once the tiles are installed, renders should therefore be cured for at least 2 weeks. Cementitious screeds must have an totaL cure of at least 3-4 weeks. Surfaces that are too hot due to exposure should be dampened down with water. Gypsum substrates and screeds must be perfectly dry, sufficiently hard and dust free. They must be treated with either Primer G or Eco Prim T.
Preparing the mix
Pour the powder into the liquid, mixing with at low speed with an agitator. Mix until a lump-free paste is achieved. Allow the mix stand for a few minutes before briefly mixing again, then apply.
Applying the mix
Spread the mix on the surface with a notched trowel and quickly set the tiles. Press firmly to ensure the adhesive transfers. Always be careful to stay within the adhesives working time. In certain ambient conditions (high temperatures, etc) the working time may be shorter than usual.
LIMITATIONS
• Do not use in exterior works.
• Do not use on surfaces subject to damp.
• Do not use directly on anhydrite surfaces.
• Do not use Nivorapid mixed with Latex Plus underneath parquet or glued wood flooring as a levelling compound.
• When used for resilients, watch out for shadowing. If possible, use Latex Plus diluted with water.
