The Monarch™ synthetic filament blend is engineered to hold a large amount of paint and release it evenly, making it especially suitable for water-based paints such as acrylics, emulsions, and latex coatings. The angled 1-inch (25 mm) head allows painters to achieve sharp lines and good control in tight spaces or along edges. However, the brush has some limitations: it is less effective with heavy oil-based coatings, varnishes, or very thick paints, where natural bristle brushes may perform better.
