This product provides rich Tudor Black colour with just one coat, helping to save time while still delivering a durable, weather-resistant finish. It enhances the natural texture of the wood while protecting it from rain and sun damage, making it ideal for both new and previously treated timber. The refill pouch format uses less plastic than traditional tins, making it a more environmentally conscious choice while still being easy to pour and apply with a brush or sprayer. Manufactured by Ronseal, it is suitable for use on rough or smooth sawn wood and dries quickly for a long-lasting, low-maintenance finish.
This is a concentrated exterior wood protection product that you mix with water to make up to about 5 L of shed and fence paint, designed to be applied with a brush or suitable sprayer to rough-sawn or planed wood surfaces. It gives lasting colour and weather protection for up to around two years, becomes shower-proof in about an hour, and helps guard wood against rain, frost, snow and sun without needing heavy buckets of paint.
Limitations: it must be applied to clean, dry wood in warm, dry conditions (above ~10 °C) for best results, and while marketed as “one coat,” a second coat may be needed for very weathered wood or to change to a much darker colour. It’s for exterior sheds and fences only, not suitable for other surfaces like decking, and the mixed paint should be used promptly rather than stored long-term
