Data Sheets
Pinkgrip Dryfix FR is a fast-curing foam adhesive designed for the quick installation of plasterboard, insulation boards, roof decking, and floorboards. Supplied in a pressurised canister, it can be applied using the Sika Pinkgrip Dryfix Applicator Gun or a standard nozzle, offering a 30% time saving compared to traditional drywall adhesives. The adhesive sets quickly, requiring boards to be supported for only one minute, and can be plastered within an hour. With no need for nails, screws, mixing, or mess, one canister can fix up to five standard boards and is suitable for use on solid walls, metal, and timber studding. It also helps reduce cold bridging and features a timed delay to prevent post-expansion.

Pinkgrip Dryfix FR is ideal for fixing plasterboard to solid walls, metal and timber stud walls, and battens, as well as bonding insulation boards to various substrates. It is also effective for securing roof decking and floorboards to beams. The product bonds to a wide range of materials, including masonry, concrete, plaster, timber, metal, insulation boards, polystyrene, polyurethane, bitumen, and asphalt.
APPLICATION
Before use, shake the can well (about 20 times) and occasionally during application. Ensure surfaces are clean, sound, and free from dust, with metals free of grease or oils. Apply only within the temperature range of +2°C to +25°C. To use, turn the can upside down and carefully screw the gun onto the black adaptor. The adhesive must be applied using a Sika Pinkgrip Dryfix Applicator Gun or the supplied nozzle.
Cleaning Tools
Excess adhesive or spillages while wet can be cleaned using Everbuild Dual Purpose Foam Cleaner. Keep the nib of the gun clean with the cleaner during use and before storage. To clean the applicator nozzle, remove it from the can and spray with Everbuild Dual Purpose Foam Cleaner. Ensure the valve is thoroughly cleaned. For cleaning hands and surfaces, use Sika Wonder Wipes to remove wet or semi-cured foam. Dispose of the material and its container at a hazardous or special waste collection point.
LIMITATIONS
Pinkgrip Dryfix FR must only be applied using the Sika® Pinkgrip Dryfix Applicator Gun—regular foam guns are not compatible. Clean the gun immediately after use with Everbuild Dual Purpose Foam Cleaner. Reuse is only possible by keeping the canister attached to the gun and cleaning the nozzle with Everbuild Dual Purpose Foam Cleaner before the foam cures, within one month of first use. Never store the canister horizontally, as this may cause the valve to seize and fail to activate. Do not insert any object into the valve, as the contents may explode. If a canister fails to activate, do not tamper with the valve and return the product to the supplier. Always use the foam can at temperatures between +2°C and +20°C for proper discharge. If necessary, gently warm the canister in a bucket of warm water.
