Sikasil® HM is a premium acetoxy-curing silicone sealant developed for sanitary applications, offering enhanced body and superior toolability for a smooth, professional finish. Its high-viscosity formula provides excellent application control while delivering a durable waterproof seal with movement accommodation of ±20%. The sealant also contains advanced anti-fungal technology to resist mould, fungal, and bacterial growth in high-humidity environments, tested through accelerated ageing standards including ISO22196 and AATCC 30 Part 3.

Suitable for:

LIMITATIONS
– It is the user’s responsibility to determine product suitability before use. If unsure, request technical data or contact Technical Services
– Do not use in aquariums; use Aqua Mate® Sealant instead
– Do not use in food preparation areas; use 565 Clean Room Silicone instead
– Do not use in contact with most metals
– Do not use with bitumen or asphalt; use Weather Mate® instead
– Plasticiser migration staining may occur on natural or reconstituted stone such as granite, marble, or limestone. Always test on a small sample area before application
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Tool the sealant within 15 minutes of application
2. Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from loose material before sealing
3. Fill deep gaps or voids with expanding foam and trim flush before applying sealant
4. When sealing plastic or acrylic baths, fill the bath halfway with water during application and curing to accommodate movement
5. Always tool the sealant firmly to achieve a proper bond
