Acryrub is a versatile all-in-one painter’s sealant suitable for both interior and exterior applications. This one-component, plasto-elastic acrylic sealant is quick to paint over and has been specially formulated to minimise the risk of crazing, even when used with highly filled or high-coverage paints. Once cured, it forms a colourfast, waterproof seal and offers excellent adhesion to a wide range of porous surfaces as well as aluminium, making it ideal for general sealing and decorating projects.

APPLICATION METHOD
– Do not apply if rain or frost is expected during the curing period.
– Suitable for sealing joints with movement capability up to 12.5%.
– Ideal for connection joints in building applications.
– Suitable for joints around window sills, between skirting boards and walls, and between masonry elements.
APPLICATION TOOLS
– Apply using a manual or pneumatic caulking gun.
CLEANING
– Uncured material can be removed from tools and substrates with water.
– Cured material can only be removed mechanically.
FINISHING
– Tool and smooth the sealant using a spatula or putty knife.
REPAIRS
– Repairs should be carried out using the same Acryrub material.
Limitations
– Not suitable for applications subject to continuous water immersion.
– Can be painted with most water-based and decorative paints.
– Paint used should be sufficiently flexible to accommodate movement in the plasto-elastic sealant.
– Due to variations between paint formulations, a compatibility test is recommended before full application.
– In its original packaging, the product is temporarily frost-resistant down to -18°C.
