Soudal B2 Expanding Fire Foam is a portable FIRE RATED single-component expanding polyurethane foam filler with swift curing capabilities. Boasting outstanding thermal and acoustic insulation attributes, it exhibits superb adhesion without the need for a primer on a wide range of construction materials.

Soudal B2 Expanding Fire Foam is suitable for the following applications:
- Installation of window and door frames.
- Filling cavities.
- Sealing all openings in roof constructions.
- Application of an acoustic baffle.
- Enhancement of thermal isolation in cooling systems.
APPLICATION
- Shake the aerosol can vigorously for at least 20 seconds.
- Attach the adapter to the valve. Before application, dampen surfaces with a water sprayer.
- For unconventional substrates, it’s advisable to conduct a preliminary adhesion test.
- Release pressure from the applicator to stop dispensing. Allow the foam to expand when filling holes and cavities.
- Shake the can periodically during application. If working in layers, moisten the surface after each layer.
- Use Soudal Gun & Foamcleaner or acetone to remove fresh foam. Test surfaces for compatibility before applying Gun & Foamcleaner, as certain materials like plastics and painted layers may be sensitive.
- Cured foam can only be removed mechanically or with Soudal PURemover.
- Operating temperature range: +5 °C to 30 °C.
- Ambient temperature for application: +5 °C to 30 °C.
- Surface temperature for application: +5 °C to 35 °C.
LIMITATIONS
Dampen surfaces using a water sprayer before applying. If working in layers, repeat the moistening process after each layer. For uncommon surfaces, it is advisable to perform an adhesion test.
