Soudal Window & Door Easy is a WATERBASED sealant for perimeter sealing around window and door frames. Very easy to apply and tool. Highly flexible and over-paintable once fully cured. Very good adhesion on most substrates, both porous and non-porous. Can even be used on natural stone surfaces.

Substrates
Substrates: all common porous building substrates
Nature: the substrates to be sealed must be clean, dry and free of dust. Not suitable for continuous underwater use. Not suitable for PE, PP, PTFE (eg Teflon®), bituminous substrates, copper or copper containing materials such as bronze and brass. We recommend a preliminary adhesion test on every surface.

Window & Door Easy is ideal for sealing around wooden, aluminium and PVCu window and door frames, construction and general purpose joint sealing, between masonry, ceramic tiles, plinths and walls. Including:

– Joints with movement till max. 15%
APPLICATION
Do not apply when rain or frost is imminent during curing process.
Application method: With manual- or pneumatic caulking gun. Finish with a spatula or putty knife.
Cleaning: Before curing, Construction Easy can be removed with water from substrates and tools.
Finishing: Finish with a wet putty knife or trowel gives the smoothest result.
Repair: With the same material.
LIMITATIONS
– Do not use in applications where continuous water immersion is possible.
– Paintable with most paints.
– The paint must be sufficiently elastic to allow application on a plasto-elastic sealant.
– Given the great diversity in available paints it is recommended to do a compatibility test prior to application.
– Allow the joint to cure for 7 days before touching or cleaning.
