Sika® Path & Patio Sealer is a water-based solution designed to seal and protect outdoor surfaces from water, dirt, petrol, grime, and green growth, helping to improve durability and keep patios cleaner for longer. Suitable for use on new, refurbished, or recently cleaned surfaces, it also provides long-lasting protection against weathering and staining while drying to a clear finish.

LIMITATIONS
– Use only as directed and store in the original container only.
– Do not apply to surfaces treated with silicone- or stearate-based water sealers, such as Sika® Waterproofer & Protector, unless weathering has removed all water-beading effects.
– Do not apply when air or surface temperatures are below +5 °C.
– Do not use if rain is expected within 5 hours at +20 °C.
– Dispose of product and packaging responsibly and prevent entry into watercourses.
– Users should determine the suitability of the product for their application. For further advice, contact the Technical Services Department if unsure.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
– Do not apply to paving that has been laid for less than 3 months.
– Always test on a small area before full application.
– Ensure the surface is clean, dry or slightly damp (not wet), and free from grease, loose material, and green growth.
– Avoid surfaces previously treated with silicone- or stearate-based sealers.
APPLICATION
1. Stir thoroughly before use.
2. Apply only in dry weather and when temperatures are above +5 °C.
3. Do not apply if rain is expected within 5 hours.
4. Use a long-pile roller, brush, or low-pressure garden sprayer for application.
5. Do not pour directly onto the surface; apply evenly across the area.
6. The surface will become touch dry in approximately 30 minutes and suitable for foot traffic after 1 hour.
7. Allow 1 hour between coats when applying multiple coats.
Recommended Coats:
– Very porous substrates (e.g. concrete flags and some stone surfaces): Apply 2 coats, allowing 2 hours between coats.
– Low porosity substrates (e.g. dense block paving): 1 coat is generally sufficient.
CLEANING OF TOOLS
– Clean all tools and equipment immediately after use with water and detergent.
