Thompson’s One Coat Patio & Block Paving Seal is a protective coating designed to enhance the appearance of patios and block paving while helping protect surfaces from oil, fuel and weathering. It provides effective protection in a single coat and is formulated from acrylic resins dissolved in aromatic hydrocarbon solvents.

Store in a cool, dry, well ventilated place away from heat and sources of ignition and direct sunlight.
Carefully reseal partly used containers. Do not store near foodstuffs. Protect from frost. To avoid risk of spillage, always store and transport in a secure and upright position.

PREPARATION
– Ensure block paving, jointing sand and paving slabs are completely dry before application. Scrub the surface thoroughly with a stiff-bristle brush to remove dust and dirt. Treat mould and algae with Thompson’s Advanced Patio & Block Paving Cleaner and oil stains with Thompson’s Oil & Drive Cleaner. Rinse off all cleaning products thoroughly and allow the surface to dry completely before applying the seal.
APPLICATION
– For best results, apply on a dry day when temperatures are above 10°C. Drying and re-coating times will be longer in cold or damp conditions. Shake the tin well, pour into a roller tray and apply using a long-pile roller in long, smooth strokes. On textured block paving, spread any puddles into dry areas. Very rough surfaces may require an additional coat.
COVERAGE
– Thompson’s One Coat Patio & Block Paving Seal covers up to 6m² per litre. Actual coverage will depend on the texture and type of surface being treated.
DRYING TIME
– The seal will be touch dry in approximately 1 hour. Do not walk on the treated surface for at least 4 hours after the final coat has dried. Avoid heavy foot traffic and parking vehicles on the surface for a further 24 hours. Full hardness is achieved within a few days, depending on surface type and texture.
CLEANING OF TOOLS
– Clean all tools and equipment immediately after use with brush cleaner. Remove as much product as possible from the tools before cleaning.
