EVERBUILD® EVERFLEX® 125 One Hour Caulk is a fast-drying, flexible decorator’s filler and sealant designed for sealing and filling gaps and cracks before decorating. It can be overpainted with all paint types or covered with wallpaper in as little as one hour, helping to speed up finishing work. The formulation requires no sanding, remains permanently flexible after curing, and offers excellent slump resistance for a neat, professional finish whilst also cleaning up easily with water, making application quick and convenient.

Suitable for:
– Can be used to fill damage plaster.
– For sealing and filling cracks and gaps prior to decorating.
– For use around skirting boards, ceiling cornices, window and door frames, stair treads and risings and fixtures adjoining walls.
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
– Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and dust-free.
– Remove loose coatings, old sealants, and mastics.
– Prime highly porous surfaces (e.g. new plaster) with a 1:2 dilution of caulk and water.
– Can be applied to slightly damp surfaces.
APPLICATION METHOD / TOOLS
– Cut cartridge tip and nozzle at a 45° angle.
– Ensure nozzle opening is slightly larger than the joint width.
– Apply using a standard sealant gun.
– Maintain even pressure and a consistent application angle.
– Tool smooth within 20 minutes using a damp spatula, wood tool, or gloved finger.
– Avoid over-wetting the surface as this may delay drying.
– Remove excess material with a sponge and warm water.
– Can be overpainted after approximately 1 hour.
LIMITATIONS
– Not suitable for use with bitumen or asphalt.
– Do not sand or abrade once cured.
– Do not overpaint until a surface skin has formed.
– For internal use only.
– Not suitable for continuous immersion, below-ground applications, or high-abrasion areas such as floor joints.
– Some low-quality paints may crack if excessive movement occurs in the joint.
