Arbo AFS Primer is recommended for use with the Arbo Membrane System, including Arbo SA and Arbo Membrane Adhesive, and is suitable for priming porous substrates such as sound concrete, cementitious boards, timber, and similar surfaces. Its easy application makes it particularly convenient for large areas. Because substrates can vary widely, a trial application is advised before construction begins, and the Adshead Ratcliffe Technical Service Department can provide guidance on whether adhesion testing is needed for new or untested materials.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Ensure all joint surfaces are clean, dry, and free from contamination. Degrease the surfaces with the appropriate Arbo Cleaner. Apply Arbo AFS Primer using a clean, dry brush or roller, and allow it to dry for a minimum of 1 hour and a maximum of 8 hours before applying the adhesive.
JOINT SIZE SUITABILITY
A minimum joint width of 6mm is required to allow proper cleaning and priming of the joint faces.
COVERAGE
Coverage is approximately 6 square metres per litre, depending on the porosity of the substrate.

Arbo AFS Primer is supplied in 1-litre containers.
