Bond-It Anchor Bond SF Styrene-Free Resin Anchoring System (300 ml) is a two-part, high-performance chemical anchoring resin designed for fixing threaded rods, rebar, studs, and bolts into concrete, brickwork, stone, and masonry substrates. Being styrene-free, it produces low odor and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, including close-to-edge fixings where expansion anchors may cause cracking. The system cures rapidly after mixing through a static nozzle, creating a strong bond that distributes loads evenly within the base material, making it ideal for structural connections such as balustrades, steel frameworks, handrails, and heavy machinery base plates. However, its limitations include reduced performance in very weak or highly porous substrates unless special sleeves are used, sensitivity to improper hole cleaning (dust or debris can significantly reduce bond strength), and curing times that vary depending on temperature—slower in cold conditions and faster in hot environments. It is also not suitable for applications requiring immediate load before full curing or where continuous exposure to extreme heat or aggressive chemicals may degrade the resin over time.
