Expanding Foam Gun Cleaner is a dual-purpose, solvent-based solution is designed for the effective cleaning of expanding foam applicator guns and removal of wet or uncured foam. Regular cleaning is essential for extending the service life of the applicator and ensuring optimal foam delivery. The solution attaches to standard foam applicator guns and dissolves fresh, uncured PU foam. The can comes with an adapter ring for attachment to the gun and features a spray head for use without the gun. This versatile product is ideal for professional users.

Shelf Life & Storage Conditions: The shelf life is minimum 24 months from the date of manufacture when stored in original, unopened containers as per the manufacturer’s instructions. This is a pressurised container, so protect it from sunlight and avoid exposure to temperatures above +50°C. Store and transport the container upright, in cool, dry conditions, and at temperatures between +5°C and +30°C. Protect from frost.

Expanding Foam Gun Cleaner is designed for removing uncured PU foam from clothes and tools, as well as for cleaning foam applicators (both inside and out) immediately after use. It’s ideal for cleaning window frames, windowsills, doors, architraves, and other areas during foam application. The can is equipped with an adapter ring that screws directly onto the gun, and for use without the gun, it features a spray nozzle. It has a standard-thread adapter that fits all commonly used guns, with the pressure from the propellant enhancing the cleaning of the internal gun mechanism. Regular cleaning is essential for prolonging the life of the applicator and ensuring optimal foam delivery.
Important: As GUN FOAM CLEANER contains acetone, it may dissolve or discolor surfaces like plastics, lacquers, paints, textiles, and coatings, so use with caution and always test suitability before use.
Application
As of August 24, 2023, adequate training is required for industrial or professional use. Always have a suitable waste container and a cloth ready for disposing of waste fluids and wiping away cleaner fluid and dissolved PU foam residues. To clean the foam applicator, first remove the PU foam can from the gun. Use the spray head on the GUN FOAM CLEANER can to clean the adapter and outer body of the gun. Next, remove the red spray head from the can and carefully screw it onto the gun, ensuring the trigger is pulled to depressurise the gun. Pull the trigger to purge the gun, and once cleaning fluid appears at the tip, release the trigger. Let the cleaner work inside the gun for about two minutes, then flush it into a waste container. Repeat this process until only clear cleaner fluid is released. After cleaning, unscrew the GUN FOAM CLEANER can. Important: This cleaner is only effective for removing fresh foam; cured foam requires mechanical removal. Note: Never use sharp instruments on PU foam applicator guns, as they may damage the protective coating.
