EVERBUILD BATH AND KITCHEN SEALANT is a versatile acrylic sealant designed for sealing applications in kitchens and bathrooms. It features a powerful fungicide to resist mould growth, ensuring long-lasting protection. This sealant is permanently flexible, adheres to most surfaces, and can be overpainted for a seamless finish. Additionally, it offers easy cleanup with just a wet cloth, making it convenient for everyday use.

Bath & Kitchen Sealant is ideal for various applications, including sealing around kitchen worktops, baths, basins, sanitary ware, and ceramics. It is also suitable for internal sealing around timber, metal, and PVCu window and door frames.
APPLICATION
Substrate Preparation
Ensure all surfaces are clean and free from dust, loose or flaking coatings, old sealant, or mastic joints. For highly porous surfaces like new plaster, prime first with Everbuild® PVA Bond diluted 1:4 with water. The sealant can be applied to slightly damp but not wet surfaces.
Application Method
C3 Cartridge: Cut the cartridge tip without damaging the thread. Attach the nozzle and cut it at a 45° angle to match the gap size. Use a standard sealant gun, maintaining even pressure and a steady angle during application.
C2 Cartridge: Remove the cap, cut the nozzle at a 45° angle, and squeeze the packaging evenly to apply the sealant.
After application, smooth the sealant within 20 minutes using a wetted spatula, piece of wood, or a gloved, damp finger, avoiding excess saturation to prevent delayed drying. Remove excess sealant with a sponge and warm water.
LIMITATIONS
- Protect from water for at least 24 hours after application; damp or humid conditions may extend curing time.
- For quicker curing (6 hours), use General Purpose Silicone.
- Avoid using with bitumen, asphalt, or around shower trays; use General Purpose Silicone for these applications.
- Do not attempt to abrade once cured or overpaint before a surface skin forms.
- Note: While the product is flexible, poor-quality paints with low movement tolerance (e.g., some vinyl matt finishes) may crack if excessive movement occurs.
