Everbuild Facades One Coat GPR is suitable for masonry and walls made from ultra-lightweight, lightweight, and dense aggregate concrete blocks, brick, clay blocks (e.g., Porotherm), low and normal density aircrete blocks, breeze blocks, stone, rubble stone, shuttered concrete, expanded clay insulation blocks, and clean, well-adhered existing render. It can also be applied to dry-stacked interlocking modular wall units such as Durisol recycled timber blocks. For these substrates, a suction control coat of Everbuild 503 SBR is required before application.

Substrate Preparation:
Ensure the substrate is clean, sound, dust-free, and free from oil, grease, plaster, paint, or any material that may hinder adhesion. For non-porous or mixed substrates like shuttered concrete or wet/patchy surfaces, prime with Everbuild® 503 SBR Bond (diluted 3:1 with clean water) and allow to dry. Then, apply a bonding coat made of a 1:1 mix of Everbuild® 503 SBR Bond and clean water combined with 1.5 parts cement. Apply Everbuild® Facades One Coat GPR while still tacky. Alternatively, use Everbuild® 507 Rendagrip or Parex Micro Gobetis 3000 as per instructions.

Mixing:
Mix 4.5–5.5 liters of clean water per 25 kg bag of Everbuild® Facades One Coat GPR. Use a spiral action mixer and mix for approximately 3–5 minutes until smooth.

Application:
Follow EN13914-1 guidelines for application.

• For weatherproofing concrete blocks and masonry, apply a 10 mm thick first coat, level with a toothed trowel finish, then apply a second coat of at least 5 mm, finishing with a stainless steel trowel or float as desired.
• For a base coat for tiling or brick slip finishes, apply a single, compact 15 mm thick coat and leave with a toothed trowel finish.

Limitations:

• Avoid applying a thin base coat with a thick top coat, as shrinkage can cause delamination.
• To maintain consistent shading, complete entire elevations in one application.
• Not suitable for weak mortar, plaster-coated constructions, or painted surfaces.
• Do not use on exposed vertical surfaces with a backward incline over 10°, as this may affect water runoff.
• If applied to concrete, do not cover with tiling unless additional waterproofing is applied.
