Sika® Remover-208 is a colourless, solvent-based cleaning agent designed for removing heavy contaminants from painted surfaces and most plastics. It is also effective for cleaning away uncured Sikaflex® residues, helping prepare surfaces and maintain a clean finish. Available in a convenient aerosol format, it provides a simple and effective cleaning solution for a range of applications.

– Used for pre-cleaning heavily contaminated non-porous substrates before bonding
– Suitable for cleaning painted surfaces prior to adhesive or sealant application
– Removes uncured Sikaflex® adhesive and sealant residues from tools and surfaces
– Designed for professional use by experienced users
– Compatibility and adhesion testing should be carried out on actual substrates before use to confirm suitability
REMOVAL OF UNCURED MATERIAL
– Remove excess Sikaflex® adhesive or sealant using a knife or spatula.
– Moisten a clean cloth or paper towel with Sika® Remover-208 and wipe away any remaining residue.
SURFACE CLEANING
1. Clean painted surfaces using a cloth or paper towel lightly moistened with Sika® Remover-208.
2. Apply the solvent to the cloth or towel directly; do not dip the cloth into the container to avoid contamination.
3. Wipe the surface thoroughly and replace paper towels regularly to maintain cleaning effectiveness.
4. Before the solvent evaporates, wipe the surface with a clean, dry, lint-free cloth or paper towel.
5. Repeat the cleaning process until no contamination is visible on a clean white paper towel.
6. Do not use on sensitive surfaces such as freshly painted finishes.
7. Reseal the container tightly immediately after use.
