SikaCeram® FlowFix Jointing Compound is a ready-to-use, flowable jointing and grouting compound that requires only the addition of water. Designed for fast and efficient application, it delivers exceptional bond strength and is ideal for grouting large areas with joints 3–10 mm wide. Suitable for exterior use, it can be applied to wet surfaces and provides a durable, non-permeable finish.

LIMITATIONS
- Do not add extra water after mixing or attempt to reconstitute the product.
- Apply only when surface and air temperatures are between +5°C and +25°C.
- Do not apply during heavy rain or if heavy rain is expected within 3 hours.
- Avoid brushing joints for 24 hours after application to prevent a poor finish.
- Not recommended for natural stone or other porous substrates.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
SUBSTRATE QUALITY / PRE-TREATMENT
- Ensure the tiled area is fully set, stable and secure.
- The substrate must be sound, clean and free from dust.
- Ensure all joints are clear of debris and other materials.
- For best results, use SikaCeram® FlowFix Bonding Primer to bond tiles to the bedding mortar.
- Remove all weeds, dirt and organic growth before application.
- Pre-wet the tiles, ensuring there is no standing water.
- Joints must be 3–10 mm wide and at least 15 mm deep.
MIXING
- Mix the bag contents with the recommended amount of clean water using a drill and spiral-action mixer.
- Always add powder to water.
- Mix for approximately 3 minutes until a smooth, lump-free, flowable mortar is achieved.
- Avoid overmixing or introducing excessive air bubbles.
- Only mix as much product as can be used within 20 minutes.
APPLICATION
- Pour SikaCeram® FlowFix Jointing Compound into the joints immediately after mixing.
- Use a squeegee to work the compound across the tiled area, ensuring all joints are completely filled.
- Add more product to the joints as required.
- Allow the mortar to harden sufficiently before cleaning the tile faces, typically 30–60 minutes depending on site conditions.
- Remove residue using a sponge float and clean, fresh water.
- Scrub stubborn residue with a stiff brush once the mortar has begun to cure, then wash away.
- Once the mortar has sufficiently set, polish the tiled area with a dry, soft cloth to remove remaining residue.
- Do not brush directly over the joints.
- Ensure all product residue is removed before it fully sets, as hardened residue can be difficult to remove.
