Applications:
Soudabond SP 370 FS is designed for professional-grade bonding across a wide range of construction and joinery tasks, particularly where immediate and high-strength adhesion is required. It is well-suited for:
-
Laminating wood, MDF, particle board, and lightweight panels with HPL, high-gloss panels, veneers, and cork.
-
Bonding stair components, PVC skirting boards, and leather or textiles to rigid surfaces.
-
Use in shopfitting, furniture production, and general interior finishing.
-
High-temperature environments (up to +130°C, and postforming up to +180°C).
-
Fast on-site applications, where portability and quick drying are essential.
Limitations:
While highly versatile, Soudabond SP 370 FS does have some constraints:
-
Not suitable for bonding polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), or PTFE (Teflon®).
-
Plasticizer migration from soft plastics may reduce adhesion performance.
-
Surfaces must be dry, clean, and well-fitted — poor surface prep may result in bond failure.
-
Not recommended for continuous water immersion or bonding where chemical resistance to strong acids/bases is required.
