Soudal Metal Plastic Alu is a two-component polyester putty based on unsaturated polyester resins and reinforced with aluminium pigments for enhanced strength and durability. It is easy to apply, fast curing, and provides excellent long-lasting adhesion while allowing quick post-processing, including grinding and sanding. The product is designed for repairing metal and polyester surfaces, making it ideal for filling scratches, tears, cracks, and dents, particularly in automotive body repair applications.

Suitable for:
– Filling scratches, tears, and dents in metal plates.
– Repairing damaged metal and polyester surfaces.
– Repairing scratches, cracks, and dents on automotive bodywork and vehicle surfaces.
Substrates
– Ensure the surface is rigid, clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, rust, and other contaminants.
– Remove all rust before application.
– Roughen smooth surfaces by grinding to improve adhesion.
– Suitable for metal, polyester, and other compatible rigid surfaces.
– Not suitable for zinc-coated or galvanized metal surfaces.
– For zinc-coated or galvanized metal, use Metal Plastic Universal.
– Perform a preliminary adhesion and compatibility test on all substrates before application.
Application Method
– Mix 2% of the B-component (hardener) with the A-component.
– Mix thoroughly until a homogeneous consistency is achieved.
– Prepare only the quantity that can be applied within 5 minutes.
– Apply the mixed putty in a thin layer using a spatula.
– Apply additional thin layers if required.
– Allow 20–30 minutes for curing (depending on temperature) before sanding.
– Once cured, continue with sanding, priming, painting, or other finishing operations.
Cleaning Method
– Clean tools and equipment immediately after use with acetone.
Repair Method
– Repair damaged areas using the same material.
