Soudal Polystyrene Adhesive is a ready to use adhesive paste for the interior bonding of polystyrene products onto porous substrates.
Properties

Substrates
Substrates: Porous surfaces such as stone, concrete, plaster, wood.
Nature: flat, clean, dry, free of dust and grease.
Surface preparation: On very absorbent surfaces the surface should be treated with a primer.
We recommend a preliminary adhesion test on any substrate.

Soudal Polystyrene Adhesive is suitable for bonding of soft and hard polystyrene, synthetic foam materials, polystyrene ceiling tiles, and foamed insulation materials on walls and floors.
APPLICATION
Application method: Apply the adhesive on the substrate using a notched trowel or dots. Don’t apply more adhesive on the substrate as you can handle within 10 minutes. When bonding polystyrene panels or ceiling tiles, apply them with a sliding movement into the adhesive and press firmly.
Cleaning: Before curing, 28A Polystyrene Adhesive can be removed with water from substrates and tools. Cured 28A Polystyrene Adhesive can only be removed mechanically.
Repair: With the same material.
