Silirub MA is a high-quality, neutral cure silicone sealant designed for sealing marble and all types of natural stone, making it ideal for sanitary applications. It does not stain joint surfaces, ensuring a clean finish, and is available in 310ml cartridges in clear and nine natural stone colors. This one-component, elastic silicone sealant is easy to apply, colorfast, and UV-resistant. It contains ZnP, a biocide with fungicidal action, making it impervious to mold. With strong adhesion to various materials and permanent elasticity after curing, it provides long-lasting, low-modulus performance.

Silirub MA is ideal for sealing joints in contact with natural stone, such as marble, granite, and other porous surfaces. It is perfect for sanitary areas, kitchens, and expansion joints between various construction materials. Additionally, it is suitable for top sealing in glazing applications.
Compatibility with Glass
Tests conducted in our laboratories confirm that Silirub MA is compatible with most common primary butyl edge sealants and PVB films. However, due to the wide variety of edge sealing systems on the market, it is not possible to test compatibility with every glazing sealant. For double glazing applications, a compatibility test is always recommended.
Joint Dimensions
- Minimum width: 5 mm
- Maximum width: 30 mm
- Minimum depth: 5 mm
- Recommended sealing jobs: Joint width should be twice the joint depth.
Application Method
- Application: Use a manual or pneumatic caulking gun.
- Cleaning: Clean with White Spirit or Soudal Surface Cleaner immediately after use (before curing).
- Finishing: Use a soapy solution or Soudal Finishing Solution before skinning. Avoid letting the finishing liquid dry on the sealant or adjacent materials. Once the sealant has sufficiently skinned, rinse the finishing liquid away with clean water.
- Repair: Can be repaired with the same material.

Remarks
- The sanitary formula does not replace regular cleaning. Excessive contamination, deposits, or soap residues can promote fungal growth.
- Lack of UV exposure may cause slight color changes in the sealant. In acidic environments or dark areas, white sealant may turn slightly yellow but will revert to its original color under sunlight.
- Avoid spilling sealant on material surfaces. Using tape around the joint can help prevent this.
- When using a finishing or soapy solution, ensure it does not touch surrounding surfaces, as this may prevent adhesion. Only dip the finishing tool into the solution.
- Do not apply in direct sunlight, as the product will dry too quickly.
- Not suitable for applications involving continuous water immersion.
- Do not use on polycarbonate—use Silirub PC instead.
- When using multiple reactive joint sealants, allow the first one to fully cure before applying the next.
