Thompson’s Emergency Instant Repair is a specially formulated, sprayable mastic made from mineral rubber, asphalt and binder in mixed solvents. Supplied in an aerosol, it provides a quick and convenient solution for emergency repairs to leaking pipes and guttering.

Suitable for use on leaking roof, guttering, pipes & drains
PREPARATION
Scrub the surface with a stiff-bristle brush to remove dust, dirt and algae, then lightly sand the repair area.
APPLICATION
– Shake the can thoroughly until the mixing balls rattle, then continue shaking for a further minute. Mask surrounding areas to protect from overspray and shake regularly during use.
– Small cracks & holes: Hold the aerosol 45–60cm from the repair area and spray until fully covered.
– Larger areas: Reinforce the repair with the scrim bandage. Hold the aerosol 20–25cm away and apply 2–3 coats, or as required for even coverage, allowing 10–15 minutes between coats.
COVERAGE
Coverage depends on the thickness of the applied coating.
DRYING TIME
Allow to dry for 24 hours to develop maximum hardness.
CLEAN UP
Hold the can upside down and spray for 3 seconds to clear the nozzle.
