Fire Cement – This buff-coloured, ready-to-use cement has a thick, paste-like consistency and is made from a blend of high-quality clays and selected fillers. Once exposed to heat and air, it sets rock hard and is resistant to high temperatures, withstanding up to 1250°C when cured. It is ideal for use in fitting continuous burning fires, jointing iron flue pipes, building and repairing firebacks, mending cracked bricks in grates and stoves, and pointing between metals and bricks. However, it is water-soluble and should not be used outdoors or in areas exposed to water erosion.

Shelf Life: 12 months from the date of manufacture when stored in unopened, original packaging.
Storage Conditions: Keep in the original, unopened tubs in a cool, dry place between +5°C and +25°C. Avoid exposure to heat, direct sunlight, and radiators. Protect from frost.

FIRE CEMENT, with its paste-like consistency, is ready to use straight from the container. It is ideal for applications such as fitting continuous burning fires, jointing iron flue pipes, building and repairing firebacks, mending cracked or broken bricks in grates and stoves, and pointing between metals and bricks. Suitable for use on surfaces exposed to high temperatures up to 1,250°C.
Preparation & Application:
Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust or loose material. Apply FIRE CEMENT directly from the tub using a trowel, pressing it firmly into gaps, crevices, and cracks. For rendering or patching, cover with stiff paper or cardboard, press into place, and smooth with a trowel—heat will burn the covering away, leaving a solid, smooth surface. Gradually increase heat over four hours for proper curing. If cracks form, reapply cement to maintain a smoke-tight seal.
Cleaning & Limitations:
Clean tools immediately after use with soap and warm water. FIRE CEMENT is water-soluble and should not be used outdoors or in areas exposed to water erosion.
