Bond It GP200 is a multi-purpose, high modulus, acetoxy-cure silicone sealant with fungicide, suitable for a wide range of sealing jobs around the home. It conforms to BS EN 15651‑1,3:2012 and provides excellent adhesion to glass, glazed surfaces, ceramic tiles, many plastics, and most paints. Resistant to common household cleaning chemicals, it performs best in showers and bathrooms with a weekly clean to prevent organic build up, and stains can be removed using commercial bleach. Ideal for sealing and waterproofing areas of high humidity, it is perfect for applications such as kitchen worktops, bathrooms, showers, utility rooms, and general DIY projects.

Bond It GP200 is suitable for a wide range of sealing jobs around the home. Limitations
Where bare ferrous metals, brass, copper, lead, aluminium, or zinc cannot be primed bare ferrous metals, brass copper, lead, aluminium or zinc
cannot be primed, use Bond It ULTI-MATE silicone sealant. Do not apply on surfaces where water can penetrate through porous materials to the bond interface without first carrying out remedial work. This product is not suitable for fixing mirrors, sealing natural marble, or for use on bitumen or asphalt. White and transparent versions may yellow over time if exposed to direct sunlight.
Preparation
Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from grease or other contaminants that could hinder adhesion. For best results on movement joints, use Bond It EXPANDING FOAM as a backing material, or alternatively a suitable backing tape or rod. All cements, concretes, and bare metal surfaces should be primed before applying the silicone. Timber surfaces should be primed and painted.
Application
Apply the sealant using a standard sealant gun with the nozzle cut at a 45° angle and slightly larger than the joint to be sealed. Tool the sealant using a stick, plastic spatula, or Bond It SEALANT APPLICATOR TOOL wetted with soapy water. Avoid applying to wet surfaces, though wetting immediately afterwards will not cause any adverse effects. Tools can be cleaned using Bond It White Spirit or Multi Wipes before curing takes place.
