Rescue Tape is aversatile, self-fusing silicone repair tape designed for a wide range of applications. It resists fuels, oil, acids, solvents, salt water, road salt, and UV rays, making it ideal for emergency repairs. This tape is perfect for fixing leaks in plumbing and hoses, insulating electrical wiring, and sealing connections. It withstands a constant working temperature of 200°C and is pressure-resistant up to 8 Bar. Simply stretch and wrap for a permanent, waterproof, and airtight seal.

Rescue Tape is quick and effective for repairing leaks in plumbing and hoses, this versatile product also insulates electrical wiring and withstands continuous temperatures up to 200°C. Ideal for emergency hose and pipe repairs, electrical insulation, wiring harnesses, corrosion protection, sealing connections and fittings, waterproofing, rigging applications, whipping rope ends, marking lines and chains, creating emergency O-rings and seals, enhancing tool handles and grips, and more.
Application
Wrap RESCUE TAPE around the repair area by stretching it and overlapping it onto itself. Ensure the tape is stretched to at least double its original length for a strong bond. For high-pressure leaks, stretch the tape to the maximum. The tighter the tape is wrapped, the faster and stronger the bond forms.
Continue wrapping by overlapping each layer so that half of the width is covered by the next wrap. The first and last wraps should fully overlap to ensure a complete bond. If necessary, apply additional layers using the same method over the previous ones. RESCUE TAPE works on either side.
Typical hose repairs require 3-5 layers, extending 3 to 5 inches from the leak in each direction.
Repositioning the tape is possible only within the first few seconds after application. It is not recommended to reposition the tape after one minute or more. RESCUE TAPE is not reusable.
Add more RESCUE TAPE at any time in the future, as needed for ongoing repairs.
No surface adhesion – RESCUE TAPE doesn’t stick to the project surface, so it can be applied on dirty, wet, or oily surfaces as long as the tape overlaps itself. Avoid dirt or oil between layers as this may interfere with bonding. RESCUE TAPE can be cut with scissors or a utility knife and will not leave sticky residue behind because there is no adhesive.
Limitations
RESCUE TAPE is not intended as a permanent repair solution, and there is no guarantee regarding how long the repair will last.
