Bond-It S3 Sanitary Sealant is a one-part silicone sealant with excellent adhesion to ceramics, glass, melamine laminates and sanitary plastics.

Bond-It S3 Sanitary Sealant should be used for sealing around basins, bed basins, sinks & to seal shower trays and shower units. In addition, it has been specially designed to seal in damp and humid areas.
It is ideal for use on:- Glass

– Anodised aluminium
– Lacquered metals
– Painted timber
– Painted plaster

– Primed or painted concrete

Preparation
Ensure all surfaces are dry and free from grease or any contaminants that may prevent adhesion. Remove any old sealant before application.
Application
Apply using a standard sealant gun. Using a sharp blade, cut the nozzle at a 45° angle, making sure not to damage the thread. The nozzle should be cut to an opening slightly larger than the joint you wish to seal. For sealing around bathtubs, the bath should be half-filled with water during application & throughout the curing process. If necessary masking tape may be applied. If significant gaps are to be filled, polythene foam, rod or tape should be used to provide support and minimise sealant wastage. Tool the joint within 5 minutes using a wet spatula to give a smooth finish & maximise the strength of the seal.
We have a number of tools on our website that would assist with the application of this product. We would recommend using a PC Cox Skeleton Gun to apply & a Bond-it Tooling Kit to aid in providing a professional finish.
Limitations
Do not use on metal or concrete without priming. Not suitable for mirrors. Furthermore, for fixing mirrors use Bond It LN7, MIRROR-MATE or MIRROR-PRO Hybrid Adhesive.
