Ronseal Interior Wax provides the same diamond-hard protection as a traditional varnish, but with a more natural-looking result. Instead of leaving a glossy or shiny surface, it enhances the wood’s natural colour while delivering a smooth matt finish. Quick and easy to apply, it dries in just 20 minutes and offers durable resistance against scrapes, knocks, and watermarks, making it ideal for a range of interior wood surfaces.

Suitable for interior wood excluding flooring
Before you start
– Clean the surface using white spirit and a cloth to remove any old wax, grease, or oil. Lightly sand with 120-grit sandpaper, then wipe away any dust once it has settled. Ensure the surface is fully dry before applying the wax.
Application
– Stir the liquid wax thoroughly before use to remove any lumps and ensure an even consistency. Apply the first coat in the direction of the wood grain and allow it to dry for one hour. For best results, apply three coats, with the final coat drying in just 20 minutes.
Aftercare
Cleaning
– Although the wax provides durable, diamond-hard protection, it’s best to clean up spills as soon as possible and regularly wipe down the surface to keep it in good condition.
