Suitable for use on wood, MDF & interior walls
Before you start
– Ensure the room temperature is above 10°C and keep it well ventilated by opening a window
– Protect surrounding surfaces from paint splashes
– If the surface is in good condition, lightly sand with 240 grit sandpaper to improve adhesion
How to prepare previously painted surfaces
– Sand off flaking or cracked paint using 120 grit sandpaper
– Wear a face mask to avoid inhaling dust
– Vacuum dust and wipe the surface with a damp cloth
– Repair holes or cracks with Multi Purpose Wood Filler
– Take care with surfaces painted before 1960, as they may contain lead paint
Application
– Stir the paint thoroughly before use
– Apply with a synthetic brush, ensuring an even coat
– Finish brush strokes in one direction
– Apply a second coat if needed (e.g. on bare MDF)
– Allow 4 hours between coats
Cleaning
– Remove excess paint from brushes or rollers
– Wash tools in warm, soapy water
– Do not pour leftover paint down drains or into watercourses
– Check with your local authority for safe disposal
– Protect the product from frost
