Ronseal Stain Block Aerosol permanently prevents household stains from showing through paint, offering a quick-drying solution that effectively blocks marks such as crayon, red wine, and dirt. It is easy to apply, requiring no brushes, which means there is no clean-up afterwards. Typically, two to three coats are needed for full coverage, helping to create a reliable base for decorating. Its fast-drying formula makes it a convenient option for preparing surfaces quickly and efficiently.

Suitable for all bare or previously painted interior walls and ceilings
Before you start
– Ensure the room temperature is above 10°C for best results. Open doors and windows to provide ventilation and lay down dust sheets to protect furniture and surrounding areas. Always wear a mask to avoid inhaling fumes.
Application
1. Shake the can until you hear the ball rattling, then continue shaking for a further minute.
2. Hold the can 20–30cm from the surface and spray side to side to achieve an even finish.
3. Allow the first coat to dry for 10 minutes, then apply a second coat and wait another 10 minutes.
4. If the stain is still visible, apply a third coat.
5. Leave for 24 hours to fully dry before decorating over.
Aftercare
Allow the product to dry completely before applying paint or wallpaper. This is not a final decorative coat and must be covered.
Cleaning
To clean the nozzle, turn the can upside down and spray for a few seconds. Wipe the nozzle with a damp cloth.
