EVERBUILD® 208 Powder Mortar Tone is a range of powdered oxide pigments designed to colour concrete, mortar, render, and screeds. The pigments disperse easily for consistent, uniform colouring and can be dosed at different levels to achieve a variety of colour depths. Formulated with light-fast pigments and a built-in plasticiser, it also enhances mortar performance and finish quality.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
SUBSTRATE QUALITY / PRE-TREATMENT
– Ensure surfaces are clean, sound, and free from dust, loose material, oil, grease, paint, and laitance.
– Remove old coatings and contaminants by wire brushing or suitable preparation methods.
– Confirm the substrate has adequate mechanical strength before application.
APPLICATION METHOD / TOOLS
– Add EVERBUILD® 208 Powder Mortar Tone to the dry cement, sand, and aggregate before adding water.
– Mix thoroughly until the colour is evenly dispersed.
– Add liquids and continue mixing to the required consistency.
– Use at a dosage rate of up to 8% of the cement weight.
– Sand and cement colour will influence the final shade achieved.
– Use white cement when producing lighter or pastel colours.
LIMITATIONS
– Do not exceed 8% dosage by weight of cement, as this may reduce mix strength.
– Use the same batches of cement and sand throughout the project to maintain colour consistency.
– Do not use with lime.
– Take care when using additional plasticising admixtures, as they may reduce the strength of the mix.
