SikaMix Mortar Plasticiser is a ready-to-use plasticising and air-entraining liquid admixture for mortars, renders, screeds, and plaster. It improves workability, consistency, cohesion, and adhesion while enhancing the durability of cement-based mixes. Its chloride-free formulation helps reduce shrinkage, cracking, efflorescence, and the risk of steel corrosion without adversely affecting setting times. Easy to use and highly economical, it also improves frost resistance for long-term performance.

Suitable for bricklaying and pointing mortars, renders and screeds
APPLICATION METHOD / TOOLS
– Reduce the normal water content by at least the same volume as the SikaMix Mortar Plasticiser added.
– Typical dosage is 125–250 ml per 50 kg of cement, depending on mortar type, temperature, sand quality, and cement type.
– Add SikaMix Mortar Plasticiser to the gauging water before mixing.
– Do not add the product directly to the dry mix.
– Protect fresh mortar from premature drying.
– Can be used with other admixtures, but each should be added separately.
