SikaMurĀ® InjectoCream-100 is a water-based, high-performance damp-proofing cream designed to control rising damp in masonry walls. Supplied in cartridges or sausages, it is easily injected into pre-drilled mortar joints using a standard application gun, eliminating the need for specialist pumps. Once installed, the cream diffuses through the wall to form an effective damp-proof course (DPC), helping walls dry out and preventing future moisture ingress. Its concentrated formula, low-waste application, and compliance with WTA Guideline 4-4-04/D make it a fast, reliable, and user-friendly solution for rising damp treatment.
Key Points:
– Creates an effective damp-proof course to stop rising damp and allow walls to dry out
– Easy and fast to install using a standard application gun with no specialist pump required
– High-strength formula with approximately 80% active ingredients for effective performance
– Water-based, non-flammable, low-hazard system with minimal waste, mess, and risk of efflorescence
Shelf Life – 12 months shelf life from date of production if stored properly in undamaged, unopened, original sealed packaging.
Storage Conditions – Dry storage at temperatures from +5 °C up to +35 °C. Protect from direct sunlight and humidity.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES ON INSTALLATION
Install the damp-proof course in accordance with the relevant code of practice, such as BS 6576:2005 for the installation of chemical damp-proof courses.
Drill Holes
Drill 12 mm diameter holes horizontally into the selected mortar course at centres not exceeding 120 mm.
Drill as close as possible to the base of the masonry course.
Hole depth should be within 40 mm of the opposite side of the wall.
Clean all drilled holes thoroughly using dry compressed air before injection.
Recommended Hole Depths
Wall Thickness Hole Depth Hole Spacing
110 mm 100 mm 120 mm
220 mm 190 mm 120 mm
330 mm 310 mm 120 mm
440 mm 420 mm 120 mm
Solid Brick Walls
– Treat from one side where possible.
– Drill to the required depth and spacing in the selected mortar course.
Cavity Walls
– Can be treated from one side in a single operation or from each leaf separately.
– When treating from one side, drill through the first leaf, across the cavity, and into the second leaf to the required depth.
– Ensure cavities are clear before treatment.
– If treating each leaf separately, treat each as an individual solid wall.
Random Stone and Rubble-Filled Walls
– Follow the selected mortar course wherever possible.
– Porous stone may be drilled directly.
– Where rubble or obstructions are encountered, drill from both sides or add supplementary holes to ensure a continuous damp-proof course is formed.
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
1. Remove skirting boards, plaster, or render as necessary to expose the masonry and mortar course to be treated.
2. Measure wall thickness before drilling.
3. Set the drill depth stop or mark the drill bit to ensure the correct hole depth is achieved.
APPLICATION METHOD / TOOLS
Use of Application Gun
– Fit the delivery tube to the application gun.
– Release and fully retract the pressure piston.
– Insert the SikaMurĀ® InjectoCream-100 cartridge or sausage into the gun barrel.
– Cut or puncture the exposed end of the cartridge or sausage before use.
Injection
– Insert the delivery tube to the full depth of the drilled hole.
– Fill each hole from the back towards the surface, leaving approximately 10 mm unfilled at the face.
– For cavity walls treated from one side, ensure both wall leaves are fully filled.
– Dispose of used cartridges and packaging in accordance with local regulations.
– Any white surface deposits around injection points can be brushed away once dry.
Making Good of Holes
– Plug, fill, or repoint all drilled holes using a suitable Sika mortar system.
Replastering
– Remove salt-contaminated plaster where required and re-plaster using a suitable renovating plaster system such as SikaMurĀ® Dry Mortar.
Correct replastering is essential for the long-term performance of any remedial damp-proof course system.
