Butyrub Polybutene Sealant is a durable, one-component sealing solution specially formulated for joints requiring minimal movement. Designed with a non-setting polybutene base, it creates a flexible, watertight skin that resists UV exposure and various chemicals. Ideal for sealing joints in masonry, windows, roofs, and vehicle bodies, this sealant adheres well to most porous construction materials without the need for primer and can be painted over after 24 hours for a seamless finish.

Applications of Butyrub Polybutene Sealant:
Ideal for joints with limited movement (maximum 5%)
Suitable for sealing masonry, windowsills, and door or window frames
Used in the installation of single glazing in wooden, concrete, or metal frames
Perfect for sealing joints in vehicle bodies, containers, and roof structures
Limitations:
Not recommended for use in areas with continuous water immersion
Incompatible with PE, PP, PTFE (Teflon®), and bituminous substrates
Not suitable for insulating or safety glass
Should not be used on natural stone (e.g., marble or granite) to avoid staining – use a suitable alternative like Soudal Silirub MA or Silirub+ S8800
