Soudal Carbond 955DG is a ready-to-use, one-component polyurethane adhesive and sealant designed for vehicle windscreen installation. It offers excellent sag resistance, high end strength, and good weather and UV resistance for reliable, durable bonding. For optimal performance, it must be used in combination with Carbond 955DG Cleaner and Carbond 955DG Primer.

Suitable for the installation of windscreens in vehicles.
Application Method
- Clean the windscreen and apply Carbond 955DG Cleaner to the glass edge.
- Apply Carbond 955DG Primer and allow to dry for at least 10 minutes.
- Remove the decorative trim and cut out the old windscreen.
- Trim the old sealant down to 1–2 mm.
- Treat any paint damage with Carbond 955DG Primer.
- Apply the sealant in a triangular bead to the windscreen or vehicle frame.
- Position the windscreen carefully, press gently, and refit the decorative trim.
- The vehicle can be moved after 1 hour and is ready for use after 3 hours.
Application Tools
- Apply using a manual or pneumatic caulking gun.
Cleaning Method
- Â Clean tools and excess sealant with White Spirit or Soudal Surface Cleaner immediately after use, before curing.
Finishing Method
- Smooth with a soapy solution or Finishing Solution before a skin forms.
Repair Method
- Repair using the same material.
